Like to come here in the morning to walk with the dog. It's a pleasant quiet place with both the historical village, a beautiful garden area in the summer and nice wooded trails. The view of the sunrise from the hill is also really nice. Four stars instead of five because I have no idea what the buildings open to the public are like or how it is when there's an event.
A friend and I went to the festival of lights. We had a lovely time. Enjoyed the home, general store, the Elvis impersonator in the church. Also the gift shop. Everyone was welcoming and knowledgeable. Thank you for such a fun experience.
It was wonderful! They had candy bar bingo in a beautiful historic home, a visit from Elvis in the church, crafts in the schoolhouse, a cute general store, street hockey, and Santa and Mrs. Claus were there. Also, the lights were beautiful! Overall, it was a very fun time!
I've been here several times for different events.
The most recent event was the Local UAW party! My family had an amazing time.
Beautiful gardens, zip lines, bounce homes, food trucks, great staff, clean Porter potatoes, and plenty of parking.
I would go to any event hosted here.
My friends and I greatly enjoyed the beautiful Highland Tea at Alexander Blue House at Greenmead. The food was delicious and they had people serving tea nonstop in highland costume. There was also a Highland Bagpiper and 2 Scottish dancers!
If you are looking for a very well kept historical chapel to get married in I would recommend greenmeads. They also have workers there that will walk you through on how a typical wedding is performed during your rehearsal which was alot of help for us. Overall it was very clean with friendly staff and all of my guests loved the stained glass and feel of it.
Went to a wedding murder mystery play in historical home. As you might guess it was a comedy. It was also interactive so people got to get up and move around. They kept it moving so it never was boring. A good time was had by al l.
Greenmead historical village is an excellent location for a classic car show, fun for the family, photoshoot, or just a great place to visit to get a little reminder of how things used to be! Since it's ran by the city, it is always well maintained 👍 …
